The Hot Sauce Kid is a company birthed by total accident. Lina and her 9-year-old son Liam (a.k.a. “The Hot Sauce Kid”), started this flaming sensation of a business after Liam's dad mistakenly planted the super hot Carolina Reaper in the family’s backyard.    Lina, a long-time hot sauce lover, naturally loved the heated addition to the backyard veggie mix. And it sparked the beginnings of her son’s fiery obsession with all things peppers and hot sauce making. They started mixing the flaming hot peppers alongside other products like honey in order to tame the heat in their homemade hot sauces so their son could enjoy the taste. And that’s when the light bulb went off. The idea, . . . a hot sauce for beginners with a far less intimidating ingredient that’s welcoming to kids!
